PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The second-seeded Plattsburgh State men's lacrosse team will look to win its first-ever State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) title on Saturday, May 6, when it visits top-seeded at fourth-ranked SUNY Cortland in the SUNYAC Tournament final at Stadium Red Field.
TICKET PRICING: General admission tickets are $5, while tickets for children ages 5-12 are $3… Children 4 and under and students from SUNYAC schools with valid identification will be admitted free of charge.
ABOUT THE SERIES: In a series that dates back to 2000, Cortland is 21-0 against the Cardinals... Plattsburgh State and Cortland have met in the SUNYAC Tournament final three times (2013, 2014 and 2015).

ABOUT THE RED DRAGONS: Cortland has won 25 of the 28 SUNYAC titles handed out in the sport of men's lacrosse... The Red Dragons have won nine straight conference titles dating back to 2008... Junior attackman Devin Phelps leads the SUNYAC in both points (66) and assists (35), while junior attackman McNaney and junior midfielder Nate Beresovoy rank second (40) and fifth (31), respectively, in the conference in goals... Junior goalie Joe Scalise ranks third in the SUNYAC in goals-against average (8.39) and is sixth in the conference in save percentage (.543)... As a team, Cortland leads the SUNYAC in goals per game (13.94)... Eleventh-year head coach Steve Beville is 187-34 during his tenure at Cortland and 335-145 across his 29-year career as a head coach...
