Murray has been a steady and reliable complementary piece on the Cardinals' defense all season, providing support and helping anchor the unit with consistent play. The senior defender totaled 27 caused turnovers, ranking third on the team and fifth in the conference, while also collecting 41 ground balls, which ranked fifth on the team. One of Murray's standout performances came against New England College on Mar. 18, when he caused a season-high five turnovers and picked up three ground balls. He followed that with another strong showing against Cortland on Apr. 29, recording a season-high five ground balls along with a team-high three caused turnovers. Offensively, he added one assist on the season. For his efforts, Murray earned one SUNYAC Defensive Athlete of the Week honor.

Whitlock has headlined the Cardinals' defense all season, emerging as a cornerstone of the unit with his strong presence and consistent production. The junior defender led the team with 62 ground balls and 33 caused turnovers, ranking eighth in the conference in ground balls and second in caused turnovers. Offensively, he contributed four assists, matching his career high for points in a season. His year was highlighted by a dominant defensive performance against Oswego State on Apr. 3, when he collected a season-high 10 ground balls and caused three turnovers.
