2026 USILA Men's Lacrosse Academic Awards
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – On Wednesday, July 1, the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced its 2026 Team Academic Award recipients, with the Plattsburgh State men's lacrosse team earning the honor after posting a 3.19 team grade point average. The recognition marks the second consecutive year the Cardinals have received the award.
To qualify for the USILA Team Academic Award, programs must achieve a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year. Earning the highest GPAs for their respective divisions were Brown University (Division 1), Lynn University (Division 2), and Haverford College (Division 3).
Plattsburgh State concluded the 2026 season with a 9-6 overall record and a 4-3 mark in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) play, posting the program's best overall record since 2017 while making its first postseason appearance since 2019.
