BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State women's tennis team rallied on Saturday at the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) tournament, defeating The College at Brockport 5-3 at the Binghamton Tennis Center.
Doubles duo Sierra Barrett (Beekmantown, N.Y./Beekmantown) and Kelci Henn (Mastic Beach, N.Y./William Floyd) won their doubles match 9-7 and the pairing of Nadine Ciardulli (Massapequa, N.Y. / Plainedge High) and Erin Wiggins (Manlius, N.Y. / Fayetteville-Manlius Senior) took their doubles match 8-4.
Henn won her singles match 6-2, 6-1; Shari Forman (Manhasset, N.Y. / Wellington C. Mepham) took her singles match 6-2, 6-0 and Ciardulli collected a point winning her singles 6-1, 6-3.
The Cardinals finish their 2017 fall season with a 6-5 overall record.
