ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State tennis team was in Red Dragon territory for SUNYAC Pool Play on Friday, and fell to Oneonta by an 8-1 margin.
The Cardinals managed only one singles win on Sierra Barrett's (Beekmantown, N.Y./Beekmantown) No. 6 singles win over Samantha Felice.
Despite the end result, the Cardinals are 2-1 this season, and will remain in Oneonta over night for day two of pool play in which they will face the Cortland Red Dragons at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
