PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State women's tennis team came out victorious in its last home match of the season. The Cardinals defeated the Johnson State Badgers 8-0 on Friday afternoon at the Memorial Hall Tennis Courts.
The match ended 8-0 as one singles competition was suspended due to lack of daylight.
It was senior day for the Cardinals, who recognized

Sarah Drexinger (Burnt Hills, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Spa),
Kaitlyn Healy (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa),
Kristen Napper (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Saranac) and
Taylor Tessitore (Central Bridge, N.Y./Schoharie Central) prior to the start of the match.
With the victory the Cardinals are now 7-3 on the season, and will turn around and hit the road to play Oswego on Saturday afternoon.
