COLCHESTER, Vt. – The Plattsburgh State tennis team had a rough go of its opponents from across the pond, falling to St. Michael's College 8-1.
Coming off an impressive conference win against the Cortland Red Dragons, the Cardinals were not able to use the momentum to its full potential Tuesday night.
The lone Cardinal win came in the form of
Sierra Barrett (Beekmantown, N.Y./Beekmantown) and
Jacqueline Ciriello (Mahopac, N.Y./Cold Spring Harbor) who paired to win their No. 3 doubles match 8-5.
With the loss the Cardinals are 3-2 this season, and will play their final SUNYAC East conference match on Friday, hosting the New Paltz Hawks at 3:30 p.m.
