UTICA, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State women's tennis team wrapped up its regular season on Sunday with an 8-1 victory over the Utica College Pioneers.
Plattsburgh State's
Kaitlyn Healy (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) and
Kelci Henn (Mastic Beach, N.Y./William Floyd) each won their singles matches, and then paired to overcome a No. 1 Utica team in doubles, 8-1.
The Cardinals have now finished the regular season at 9-3 overall, and are the No. 3 seed in the east for the SUNYAC postseason.
Postseason play begins on October 8th at 2 p.m. for Plattsburgh State, who will face the Fredonia Blue Devils in the first round of the tournament, hosted in Binghamton, N.Y.
