FREDONIA, N.Y. – Stefanie Braun and Jacquelyn Boyea from Plattsburgh State have been named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) 2012 Women’s Outdoor Track and Field all-conference teams.

The top two finishers in the individual events at the SUNYAC Championships make the All-Conference teams. The individual champions are on the first team and second place finishers are the second team.

Stefanie Braun landed a spot on the first team by winning the 10,000-meter run with a time of 37:04.36. She also placed second in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17:45.93.

This is Braun’s third-straight individual crown in the 10,000-meter run at the SUNYAC Championships, making her a three-time first team all-conference member. Braun was second team All-SUNYAC her freshman year.

Jacquelyn Boyea earned herself a position on the second team by finishing second in the javelin throw with a toss of 34.91. Boyea now becomes a three-time all-conference honoree after winning the javelin throw in her last two appearances at the SUNYAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
