NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its All-Region honors for the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field season on Tuesday, with four members of the Plattsburgh State women's track and field team earning Mideast All-Region recognition. Sophomores
Emma Mahoney (Spencerport, N.Y. / Spencerport),
Isabella Scott (Valatie, N.Y. / Ichabod Crane), and
Brianna Wise (Niskayuna, N.Y. / Niskayuna), along with senior
Grace Yarkosky (South Lyon, Mich. / South Lyon), were all honored.
Yarkosky holds the second-fastest time in the region in the 400-meter dash and the eighth-fastest time in the 200-meter dash. The 4x400-meter relay team of Scott, Mahoney, Wise, and Yarkosky also earned All-Region recognition, posting the seventh-fastest time in the region.
The top eight individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Athletic.net Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, Northeast, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season. Yarkosky collected another career All-Region honor, earning back-to-back recognition in the 400-meter dash and her first honor in the 200-meter dash. Her fastest time in the 400-meter dash came at the Farley Inter Regional on May 9, where she ran 55.04 seconds to break the outdoor program record. In the 200-meter dash, her season-best time came at the RPI Under the Lights Meet on Apr. 10-11, where she clocked 25.24 seconds.
The Cardinals' 4x400-meter relay team was also recognized with All-Region honors. The squad of Scott, Mahoney, Wise, and Yarkosky successfully defended its State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) title, winning back-to-back championships in the event. The team's best time came at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships, where it recorded a time of 3:56.42.
The Cardinals will wrap up the outdoor season at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, May 21-23, at Wisconsin-La Crosse.
