LA CROSSE, Wis. – Senior Grace Yarkosky (South Lyon, Mich. / South Lyon) of the Plattsburgh State women's track and field team has qualified for the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 400-meter dash, as announced by the NCAA on Friday. This year's championships will be hosted by Wisconsin-La Crosse on Thursday-Saturday, May 21-23.
Yarkosky enters the meet as the eleventh-fastest qualifier in the 400-meter dash with her outdoor program-record time of 55.04 seconds, which she set at the Farley Inter Regional meet on May 9. The appearance marks the second time Yarkosky has qualified for the NCAA Championships and her first appearance at the outdoor championships.
The preliminary heats of the 400-meter dash are scheduled for Friday, May 22, at 4:50 p.m., with the finals set for Saturday, May 23, at 2:10 p.m.
