Hoffman then broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the fourth when she hit a two RBI single to right field that gave the Dutchwomen a 3-1 lead.

Danielle Gjergji hit an RBI double to centerfield for the Cardinals that tied the game at one in the third inning.

Ashley Napear and Amy Woo led the team by each going 2-for-3 at the plate during the first contest.

The Dutchwomen started the second game scoring three runs in two innings. Nina Cervini hit a RBI single to center in the first inning and in the second inning Sirrine reached home on a wild pitch and Erika Hillenbrand grounded out but drove in Hoffman.

Plattsburgh got on board in the fourth inning. Napear hit a RBI double to left center and Corinne Gioia hit an RBI single to make it a 3-2 ballgame. The Cardinals tied the game in the fifth inning when Erin Jamieson reached home on a pickoff error.
