PLATTSBURGH, N.Y.
– Lindsey Keyser found the back of the net at 1:14 and again at 8:52 for her fifth and sixth goals of the season to give the Cardinals an early 2-0 lead over Norwich.  Plattsburgh State never looked back, rolling to a 5-0 win against the Cadets on a night in which the team honored seniors Liz Radigan, Erin Norris and Emily Riley.

With their sixth-straight victory, the Cardinals finish the regular season 14-2-1 overall and 7-1-1 in conference play.  The Cadets fall to 11-7-0 on the season.

Plattsburgh State finished the first half with a 4-0 lead following an unassisted goal by Radigan and Kayla Rabideau’s team-leading eighth goal of the season in the 40th minute.  Lauren Gonyea picked up an assist on the Cardinals’ fourth goal.

Junior Megan Rivage scored the only goal in the second half, knocking the ball past Norwich goalkeeper Alecia Wright off a corner kick by Akino Funayama.

The Cardinals dominated play, with a 40-6 margin in shots and a 17-1 edge in corner kicks.  Radigan led the Plattsburgh charge with 11 shots, followed by Rivage with nine and Keyser with five.  Norwich standout Brittany Casey recorded four shots for the Cadets.

Alina Greiser and Monica D’Ippolito split time in the Plattsburgh net, recording the Cardinals’ eleventh shutout this season.  Greiser was untested in the first half, while D’Ippolito made three stops in the second half.  Alecia Wright had 19 saves for Norwich.
