PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Plattsburgh State senior Sydney Myers (Mooers Forks, N.Y./Northeastern Clinton) was named the Spry State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Offensive Athlete of the Week for women's soccer, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. This is the team's second weekly honor of the season. 

Myers helped lead the Cardinals to an undefeated week in SUNYAC play, as Plattsburgh State scored 14 goals across two 7-0 victories over Canton and Morrisville. Against Canton, Myers recorded a hat trick before following up with another outstanding performance against Morrisville, tallying one goal and two assists. Myers finished the week with four goals and two assists, including two impressive free-kick goals from outside the box, playing a key role in the Cardinals' dominant offensive performances.
