Alex Kornblau blasted two home runs against Southern Virginia over the weekend, the first time a Cardinal had done so since Joe Curcio in April 2009. Kornblau drove in four runs on the day, walked once, and finished 3-4 in the team's 9-8 loss. He followed that performance reaching base twice against Scranton with a single and a walk.
