Cardinals Unveil 2026 Men's Soccer Schedule

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's soccer team is set to begin the 2026 season with a 17-game regular-season schedule, featuring eight home matches and nine road contests. The Cardinals will look to build momentum throughout the fall as they pursue a return to SUNYAC postseason play.

Plattsburgh State opens the season on Tuesday, Sept. 1, with a road matchup against St. Lawrence before traveling to Clarkson on Saturday, Sept. 5. The Cardinals continue their early-season road stretch with a trip to Norwich on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
The Cardinals return home to host the Cardinal Classic on Sept. 11-12. Plattsburgh will face MCLA on Friday, Sept. 11, before taking on Manhattanville on Saturday, Sept. 12.

Following the tournament, Plattsburgh hosts Skidmore on Wednesday, Sept. 16, before heading to Union on Saturday, Sept. 19. The Cardinals then return home to face RPI on Tuesday, Sept. 22, before wrapping up non-conference play at Stevens on Saturday, Sept. 26.

SUNYAC action begins on Wednesday, Sept. 30, when the Cardinals travel to Potsdam. Conference play continues with a home matchup against Oneonta on Saturday, Oct. 3, followed by a road contest at Delhi on Wednesday, Oct. 7.

Plattsburgh returns home to host Oswego on Saturday, Oct. 10, before welcoming Canton to the Field House Turf Complex on Wednesday, Oct. 14. The Cardinals then travel to Morrisville on Saturday, Oct. 17, and Cobleskill on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

The regular season concludes on Saturday, Oct. 24, when Plattsburgh hosts Cortland.

The SUNYAC Tournament is scheduled to begin with play-in games on Wednesday, Oct. 28, followed by the quarterfinals on Saturday, Oct. 31. The semifinals are set for Wednesday, Nov. 4, while the conference championship match will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7.
