2025-26 CSC Academic All-District Women's At Large Teams
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Senior
Lexi Carfi (Syracuse, N.Y. / Liverpool) of the Plattsburgh State women's lacrosse team was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes who do not currently have a designated program in the Academic All-America catalog, for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
To be eligible for the ballot, a lacrosse student-athlete must have competed in at least 90% of the team's games or started at least 66% of the team's contests. Nominees must also be academically and athletically at least a sophomore and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
Carfi, a Childhood Education major with a 3.92 cumulative GPA, started all 15 games for Plattsburgh this season. The senior defender totaled 14 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers, tying for second on the team in caused turnovers. Her season was highlighted by a standout defensive effort against VTSU-Castleton on Mar. 31, when she recorded season highs of four ground balls and three caused turnovers.
