PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Senior defender Taya Balfour (Moorestown, N.J./Philadelphia Jr. Flyers) was named to the 2025–26 CCM Hockey/AHCA Division III Women's All-American Team, earning East Second Team honors. The recognition marks the first All-American selection of Balfour's career.

Balfour also earned SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Year honors and was named to the All-SUNYAC First Team. She was a dominant presence on the blue line for Plattsburgh State, appearing in all 28 contests.

She finished the season with 22 points, tied for third on the team, totaling seven goals and 15 assists—both of which led all Cardinal defenders. She also recorded a team-best +25 plus/minus rating.

Defensively, Balfour ranked second on the team with 34 blocked shots and anchored a Cardinals unit that allowed just 1.3 goals per game while limiting opponents to only 18.2 shots per contest.
