Seoyoung Yoo (Yongin, Republic of Korea/Ontario Hockey Academy), junior forward
Sydnee Francis (Canton, N.Y./Nepean Jr. Wildcats), senior defenseman
Su-An Cho (Madison, Ala./Florida Alliance), and senior defenseman
Taya Balfour (Moorestown, N.J./Philadelphia Jr. Flyers) have each been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's At-Large Teams following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.
The Academic All-District At-Large teams recognize NCAA sports that do not currently have a designated program in the Academic All-America catalog. To be eligible for the ballot as a women's ice hockey student-athlete, nominees must have competed in 90% of the team's total games, be at least a sophomore academically, and carry a cumulative 3.50 GPA.
Morris, a Communication Sciences and Disorders major with a 3.97 cumulative GPA, appeared in all 28 games for the Cardinals this season, totaling 15 points on eight goals and seven assists. She finished with a +13 plus-minus rating and added two game-winning goals.
Yoo, an Accounting and Business Administration major with a 3.95 cumulative GPA, also played in all 28 games, recording eight points on two goals and six assists. She finished the season with a +11 rating, added 28 blocked shots, and earned Second Team All-SUNYAC honors.
Francis, a Nursing major with a 3.93 cumulative GPA, appeared in all 28 contests, posting 12 points on five goals and seven assists. She finished the year with a +9 rating and recorded two game-winning goals while earning SUNYAC Tournament MVP honors.
Cho, an Accounting and Business Administration major with a 3.92 cumulative GPA, played in all 28 games, tallying four points on a goal and three assists. She finished with a +21 rating and added eight blocked shots.
Balfour, a Business Administration/International Business/Marketing major with a 3.96 cumulative GPA, appeared in all 28 games, totaling 22 points on seven goals and 15 assists. She posted a +25 rating, recorded two game-winning goals, and added 34 blocked shots while earning Second Team All-America honors, DIII Hockey News Second Team recognition, SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Year honors, and First Team All-SUNYAC recognition.
