PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State Cardinals baseball team has received national recognition in the first American Baseball Coaches Association NCAA Division III Coaches Poll of the 2026 season, earning votes and landing just outside of the top 30.

The ABCA Division III Coaches Poll ranks the top 30 teams in the nation, while also recognizing additional programs receiving votes. The rankings are voted on by head coaches from across the country, providing a national snapshot of the Division III landscape.

The Cardinals' inclusion among teams receiving votes highlights the program's strong 9-1 start to their 2026 campaign. Plattsburgh will look to build on this momentum as they open conference play this weekend against a Cortland side also receiving votes.
