NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its All-Region honors for the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field season on Wednesday, with six members of the Plattsburgh State men's track and field team earning Mideast All-Region recognition. Jackson Hooper (Elizabethtown, N.Y. / Bouquet Valley), first-year

Isaiah Ritter (Peekskill, N.Y. / Peekskill), and fifth-year
Jeremiah Smith (Brooklyn, N.Y. / East New York Family Academy) were all honored.
Clark recorded the seventh-fastest time in the 60-meter hurdles, while Cypress ranked fifth in both the 60-meter and 200-meter dashes and eighth in the 400-meter dash. In the field events, Ritter placed second in the long jump, followed by Smith in fourth, while Hooper ranked third in the high jump, with Pringle finishing eighth. Cypress collects another career All-Region honor, earning back-to-back USTFCCCA All-Region recognition in the 60-meter dash. The senior sprinter posted his best time of the season in the event at the Blue & Orange Invite and Multi, clocking 6.89 seconds. His top time in the 200-meter dash came at the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships, where he ran 21.65 seconds (converted from 22.03 for track size). At the Ithaca Bomber Invitational, he recorded a season-best time of 49.16 seconds (converted from 49.94 for track size) in the 400-meter dash. At the SUNYAC Championships, Cypress earned bronze in the 60-meter dash and silver in the 200-meter dash before adding a bronze medal in the 200-meter dash at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships.
Hooper followed up a strong outdoor campaign, in which he placed second in the high jump at the SUNYAC Outdoor Championships, with another second-place finish at the AARTFC Outdoor Championships. Hooper's best mark of the indoor season came at the Utica Holiday Classic, where he cleared 1.97 meters, placing him in the top eight in the high jump in the region.
Pringle has been a welcome addition for the Cardinals, earning second place in the high jump in his SUNYAC Indoor Championship debut. Pringle's top mark this season was 1.94 meters, which he recorded at the Plattsburgh State Tuesday Night Invite.
Coming off an outdoor season in which he placed second in the long jump, Ritter continued to be a key contributor for Plattsburgh, earning another second-place finish with his program-record leap of 7.20 meters at the SUNYAC Indoor Championships. That mark stood as Ritter's best of the season.
A new addition to the team this year, Smith quickly emerged as another contender in the long jump, posting a season-best mark of 6.99 meters at the AARTFC Indoor Championships to place fourth, just missing out on a medal.
The Cardinals will wrap up the indoor season this weekend, Mar. 13-14, before opening the outdoor season on Saturday, Mar. 28, at the UMass Flagship First Meet.
