BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Junior Isaiah Ritter (Peekskill, N.Y. / Peekskill) of the Plattsburgh State men's track and field team has qualified for the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in the long jump, as announced by the NCAA on Sunday evening. This year's championships will be hosted by Birmingham-Southern College on Friday and Saturday, Mar. 13-14.

Ritter enters the meet as the 18th-ranked jumper in the field with his program-record mark of 7.20 meters, which he set at the SUNYAC Indoor Track and Field Championships on Feb. 27. The appearance marks the first time Ritter has qualified for the NCAA Championships.

The long jump is scheduled for Friday, Mar. 13, at 12:30 p.m., beginning with the preliminaries followed by the finals.
