MEDFORD, Mass. – The Plattsburgh State women's track and field team traveled to Tufts to compete in the Tufts Cupid Challenge on Saturday afternoon.
In the sprint events, sophomore
Lexi McDonald (Altona, N.Y. / Northern Adirondack) paced the Cardinals with an eighth-place finish in the 60-meter dash invite and a 10th-place finish in the 200-meter dash, posting times of 8.19 seconds and a personal-best 27.37 seconds, respectively.
In the distance events, sophomore
Ellie LeRoy (Malone, N.Y. / Franklin Academy) finished 14th in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 19:07.61, while junior
Grace Estus (Clifton Park, N.Y. / Shenendehowa) ran the 3,000-meter run in 10:45.58 for 16th place.
The Cardinals return to action on Friday, Feb. 20, traveling to St. Lawrence for the SLU Open.
