ITHACA, N.Y. - Junior
Marissa LeDuc (Saranac, N.Y./Saranac) and the 4x400-meter relay team competed at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Indoor Championships on Friday for the Plattsburgh State women's track and field team.
LeDuc finished 10th in the pentathlon, as the junior posted a total of 2,774. Her day was highlighted by her second place finish in the shotput, as she had a 9.71-meter throw, finishing just .01 off the top mark. She was also sixth in the long jump with a 5.10-meter jump.
Fresh off their 4x400-meter conference title, the team of
Isabella Scott (Valatie, N.Y./Ichabod Crane),
Emma Mahoney (Spencerport, N.Y./Spencerport),
Brianna Wise (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna), and
Grace Yarkosky (South Lyon, Mich./South Lyon) posted an 11th place finish with a time of 4:06.67.
Tomorrow, Yarkosky will compete in the 400-meter run to wrap up the indoor season for the Cardinals.
