PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Plattsburgh State junior
Chloe Lewis (Monson, Mass./Northwood School) has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Goaltender of the Week for women's hockey, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. This marks both Lewis' and the team's second weekly honor of the season.
Lewis helped guide Plattsburgh State to a perfect 2-0 start in SUNYAC play, turning in a dominant weekend between the pipes. Lewis opened the conference slate with a 13-save shutout against William Smith, calmly steering aside every opportunity she faced. She followed that performance with another flawless outing the next day, registering a 12-save shutout in the Cardinals' win over Buffalo State. Across the two-game weekend, Lewis did not allow a single goal and delivered several key saves in timely moments to preserve momentum and secure both victories. Her poised, reliable play was instrumental in Plattsburgh State's undefeated start.
