CANTON, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's cross country team wrapped up its 2025 campaign at the 2025 NCAA Division III Mideast Region Championships hosted by St. Lawrence at the Ronald C. Hoffmann Cross Country Course, placing 22nd overall.
Junior
Zander Brown (Wappingers Falls, N.Y. / Roy C. Ketcham) continued his strong season as the top finisher for the Cardinals and led the team with a time of 28:23.9 (118th). The next runner across for Plattsburgh was senior
Jack Natali Jr. (Clayton, N.Y. / Thousand Islands) with a mark of 29:02.3 (132nd).
The next wave of finishers for Plattsburgh included
Brody Serfass (Endwell, N.Y. / Maine Endwell) at 29:08.3 (136th) and
Nate Alexander (Marcellus, N.Y. / Marcellus) and
Jackson Morse (Niskayuna, N.Y. / Niskayuna) finishing back-to-back with times of 29:26.2 (141st) and 29:28.7 (142nd).
Matthias Lauvau (Rye, N.Y. / Rye Neck) and
Bryton Mandigo (Hartford, N.Y. / Hartford Central) closed out the Cardinals' lineup with times of 30:11.1 (151st) and 30:29.5 (154th), respectively.
RPI took home the team championship with a score of 44 for the automatic berth into the NCAA Division III National Championships in Spartanburg, S.C., hosted by Converse College. Nathan Tassey of Roger Williams won the individual championship with a mark of 25:05.5.
With this race, the Cardinals bring their season to a close and begin preparing for the upcoming indoor track and field campaign.
