PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - Plattsburgh State baseball second baseman Joey Di Rocco (Congers, N.Y./Clarkstown South) was named D3baseball.com Team of the Week for the week ending on March 24, as announced on Wednesday by D3baseball.com. This week's full team can be found here.

Di Rocco had an outstanding week for the Cards, as the junior second baseman extended his hit streak to 10 games over a busy Spring Trip for Plattsburgh State. Over the entire week, Di Rocco hit .500 (13-for-26), scored 13 runs, drove in 11 runs, homered once, and doubled four times while also walking five times.

The Cardinals are currently 11-4 (2-1 SUNYAC) on the season and head to Cortland this weekend for a huge series with the Red Dragons beginning Friday, March 29 at 3 p.m.
