Lillian Moran (Albany, N.Y./Colonie Central) had a good showing in her first career race on this course, placing 17th with a mark of 25:54.5. Finishing next for Plattsburgh was another first-year, as Kayla Grant (Lake George, N.Y./Lake George) was the 21st person to finish the race, coming in with a mark of 27:36.1. Sophia Gambino (Belmont, N.Y./Genesee Valley) and Jayelee Southwell (Morrisonville, N.Y./Peru) were the sixth and seventh for the Cards, as they finished with times of 27:36.6 and 28:21.9, respectively.
