PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - The Plattsburgh State baseball and softball teams have canceled their games originally scheduled for Tuesday, May 2 due to inclement weather. The baseball team was set to host Middlebury, while the softball team was heading on the road to RPI.

The Plattsburgh baseball team sits at 12-20 on the year and will wrap up their 2023 season this weekend as Fredonia travels to Plattsburgh for a three game series beginning on Friday, May 5. 

The Plattsburgh softball team is enjoying their best season since 2017 as they sit at 20-8 overall and have clinched a spot in the 2023 conference tournament. They will finish their regular season as they travel to the Rochester area this weekend to face Geneseo and Brockport, with Geneseo first on the schedule for a doubleheader on Friday, May 5.
