2022 SUNYAC Men's Lacrosse Awards
CORTLAND, N.Y. – Senior midfielder
Stephen Kane (Hampden, Mass./Minnechaug Regional) of Plattsburgh State has been named to the 2022 All-State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Men's Lacrosse Second Team, as announced Wednesday by the conference office.
This marks the first-ever All-SUNYAC honor for Kane, who wrapped up his career with 123 points on 99 goals and 24 assists. His 99 goals rank seventh in program history, while his 123 points are the eighth most in the program's record book. In addition, Kane's 45 goals this year are the 10th most in a single season in program history. He led the SUNYAC in goals, man-up goals (10) and points (57) in 2022, and he also recorded 12 assists, eight ground balls and seven caused turnovers.
