PRINCETON, N.J. – Three members of the Plattsburgh State women's track and field team competed against a mostly NCAA Division I field at the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton University on Saturday.
Senior
Aislyn McDonough (Rouses Point, N.Y./Northeastern Clinton) took 12th in the 800-meter run (2:17.39), senior
Janyll Barber (Dannemora, N.Y./Saranac) placed 14th in the 400-meter hurdles (1:03.95) and sophomore
Michaela Schaffer (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) finished 16th in the triple jump (10.72 meters – 35' 2"). McDonough and Barber each rank second in their respective event in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC), while Schaffer now ranks fifth.
Plattsburgh State next competes at Middlebury College on Saturday, April 23, in a tri-meet with Middlebury and Union College.
