– The Plattsburgh State women's cross country team placed third out of nine teams at the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championships hosted by SUNY Cortland Saturday at Dwyer Memorial Park, posting a score of 106 points.

The Cardinals placed just ahead of Cortland, with the fourth-place Red Dragons registering a score of 108 points. SUNY Oneonta took fifth (121 points), SUNY New Paltz placed sixth (127 points), Oswego State finished seventh (191 points), Buffalo State came in eighth (211 points) and Fredonia notched a ninth-place result (228 points).
