MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Junior
Jazz Roberts (Albany, N.Y./Guilderland) finished first out of 65 runners with a six-kilometer time of 22:37.3 to help lead the Plattsburgh State women's cross country team at the Aldrich Invitational hosted by Middlebury College Saturday afternoon. Roberts averaged a 6:04 mile pace, edging the second-place runner by 6.2 seconds.
Sophomore
Aislyn McDonough (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Northeastern Clinton) finished 36th with a time of 27:50.8, while senior
Mikayla Barrett (Rotterdam, N.Y./Schalmont) clocked a 46th-place time of 29:34.0. Freshman
Madison Myer (Carthage, N.Y./Carthage) rounded out the Cardinals' runners at the meet with a 49th-place finish (30:46.9).
Middlebury finished first in the team standings with 24 points.
Plattsburgh State returns to action at the Purple Valley Classic hosted by Williams College on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 1 p.m.
