CANTON, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State women's cross country team finished up its 2019 season by competing at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional Championships hosted by St. Lawrence University on Saturday. The Cardinals did not register a team score.
Sophomore
Rebecca Block (Lake Grove, N.Y./Sachem North) was the first Cardinal to complete the six-kilometer course, turning in a time of 24:48.1 to finish 93rd out of 274 runners. Sophomore
Kristen Thomas (Islip, N.Y./Islip) clocked a 163rd-place time of 26:17.0, while sophomore
Aislyn McDonough (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Northeastern Clinton) placed 168th (26:18.9).
SUNY Geneseo finished first in the team standings with 68 points, followed by the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (second, 83) and Ithaca College (third, 102). Ithaca's sophomore Parley Hannan won the race individually with a time of 21:01.2.
