th minute gave the Cardinals a one-man advantage for the remainder of the game. The Dutchwomen were forced to play a man down after one tackled a Plattsburgh State player which in turn boosted the Cardinals momentum.

Madeline Saccocio (Schenectady, N.Y. / Schalmont) put one in the back of the net with a long shot from left center for not only Plattsburgh State's third goal but her third of the season.

Nichole Gibson (Arkport, N.Y. / Arkport) picked up her second straight shutout of the season. Gibson played all 90:00 minutes between the pipes and recorded two saves.
Plattsburgh State out shot Union 22-9.
The Cardinals are now 2-0 in the season and will return to the Field house Athletic Complex on Friday night, where they host RPI in a non-conference match at 7 p.m.
