PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State women's soccer team will be hosting a Cystic Fibrosis game this Friday (Oct. 17) against Fredonia State. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Field House Complex.
The game will be used to help create awareness about Cystic Fibrosis which is a life-threating genetic lung disease that affects over 30 thousands Americans.
The women's team will be selling t-shirts during the game for $15 apiece along with holding a 50/50 raffle. The Cardinals will also be holding a raffle for a women's soccer gift bag that includes a new back pack, a signed ball and other apparel. All proceeds will be donated towards Cystic Fibrosis research.
