LYNDON CENTER, Vt. - The Plattsburgh State baseball team overcame a 4-0 deficit to defeat host Lyndon State, 10-7, in non-conference action Wednesday at Skip Pound Field. The No. 23-ranked Cardinals win their fifth straight to improve to 26-6 overall, marking the first time in school history that the program is 20 games over-.500. The Hornets fall to 8-20 on the season.
Tory Bouyea led Plattsburgh's 13-hit attack by going 3-for-5 at the plate, including a double.
Pat Shaughnessy,
Andrew Gooch and
Crockett Pack added two hits apiece.
The Hornets scored a run in the bottom of the third inning and tacked on three more in the fourth for a 4-0 lead until Plattsburgh got on the scoreboard with a run in the fifth.
The turning point in the game occurred in the next frame when the Cardinals scored four times to pull ahead for good, 5-4. A LSC error by the second baseman allowed two runners to score that made it 4-3.

Anthony Presto lined a single down the left-field line as Plattsburgh went up by one.
Casey Mohrien earned the win to improve to 3-0.
The Hornets had eight hits, but committed four errors.
Plattsburgh added some insurance with two runs in the seventh and three in the eighth. LSC scored twice in the ninth, but the rally stopped short by three runs.
