Katonka recorded three points on two goals and an assist in a NEWHL sweep of SUNY Cortland over the weekend. She scored on the power play at 13:52 of the first period to put the Cardinals on the board and added an assist in a 3-2 win over Cortland on Friday. Katonka also went 14-for-19 on face-offs during Friday's contest. On Saturday, she scored what wound up being the game-winning goal on the power play at 11:04 of the first, helping lead the Cardinals to a 5-0 victory over the Red Dragons. For the season, Katonka ranks among the NCAA Division III leaders in power-play goals (tied for third, 8), points (tied for sixth, 33) and goals (tied for eighth, 21). Plattsburgh State has won 13 straight games and is top-ranked team in Division III in both the USCHO.com poll and the PairWise rankings.
