Coming off the bench for Coach Blaine, Justin Blanchett had two of the strongest performances of any men's basketball player this season. The junior guard/forward had 18 points and 10 rebounds in the new year opening win over NVU-Lyndon, shooting 7-12 from the field. In their conference game versus Potsdam, Blanchett put together the highest scoring output by a Cardinal since Travis Cox in February of 2020, posting 28 points and picking up another double-double with 10 rebounds. He was extremely efficient once again, shooting 9-13 from the floor, 2-2 from downtown, and 8-8 from the charity stripe.Â
