Smith's wing play on face-offs and defense helped the Cardinals sweep a pair of SUNYAC opponents. He scored his second career goal and scooped up a career-high-tying 12 ground balls in a 12-11 come-from-behind win over SUNY Oneonta on Wednesday before collecting three ground balls in a 7-6 triple-overtime win over Oswego State on Saturday.
