Colin Callanan was outstanding for Plattsburgh State in the Comfort Inn Winter Complex Winter Classic, as the sophomore forward scored three goals across two games, powering the Cardinals to the championship victory and earning Tournament MVP honors. In game one against Rivier, Callanan scored the game's opening goal to give the team a quick win and helped lead them to the win. On Saturday in the championship game, Callanan gave his team the early 1-0 lead again, scoring the game's opening goal, and then shortly after Albertus Magnus tied the game at one, Callanan scored his second goal of the game to give Plattsburgh a lead they would not relinquish.
