2021 (Junior): Appeared in six games scooping up one ground ball.

Before Plattsburgh State: Saw action in 20 games across two years playing for NCAA Division II Post University, scooping up 22 ground balls and causing 15 turnovers.

High School: Competed in lacrosse (four years), football (four years) and indoor track and field (one year) at Arlington High School... Named All-League in lacrosse in 2018 and 2017... Gained club experience playing for Premier Lacrosse from 2013-17 and the Westchester Warriors in 2018.

Personal: Son of John and Dorothy Byrne... Brother, John Jr., played football at St. Lawrence University; sister, Margaret, currently plays lacrosse at SUNY Oneonta... Enjoys long walks on the beach, making Q-tip sculptures and melon tossing in his spare time.
