2012 (Senior): Wrapped up a four-year career that saw her retain and build on her talents on the defensive and offensive ends... registered court time in all of the 116 sets the Cardinals took part in... saw significant increases in statistical categories across the board from a season ago including 53 blocks - the second-highest tally on the team... collected a single-season high 74 digs including a season-high six against Utica (10/13)... smashed down 27 service aces - the third-highest figure on the team - through the course of the season.

2011 (Junior): Was a force at the net recording a team-leading 56 total blocks, 30 solo blocks and 26 block assists ... recorded 77 kills and 24 digs ... had seven kills and seven blocks against Ramapo (Oct. 1).

2010 (Sophomore): Finished the season with a team-leading 47 blocks, including 36 block assists ... tallied third-most kills (126) for the Cardinals ... contributed 24 assists against St. Lawrence (Oct. 26) ... recorded four blocks on three separate occasions (Sept. 10, Sept. 11 and Oct. 2).

2009 (Freshman): Made an immediate impact on the Cardinals by leading the team with 34 solo blocks, 61 total blocks and a freshmen-best 139 kills ... only player on the squad to start in all 35 matches ... notched four kills, five service aces, three digs and two blocks in Sept. 4 debut against Husson ... pounded 10 kills and a .400 attack percentage the following day versus Hartwick. 

High School: Two-year letterwinner for volleyball coach Tony Martins at Summit … team’s most improved player as a junior … senior awards included team MVP, second-team all-conference, third-team all-county and Star-Ledger second-team all-county … also played basketball and softball … played club volleyball for Allegro. 
 
Personal: Born Abigail Elizabeth Mell on Oct. 1, 1990, in Summit, N.J. ... parents are Ed and Libby … a brother, Dave, played college football … Girl Scouts Gold Award ... elementary education major.
