Biography
2013-14 (Freshman): Indoor: Helped a Cardinal team to a fifth place finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:25.77 at the Saints Indoor Invitational (1/18)… contributed to a Cardinal team that secured a fourth place finish in the 4x800 meter relay at the Cornell Invitational with a time of 10:06.37 (2/22)… placed eighth with a Cardinal squad in the 4x400 meter relay at the SUNYAC Championship with a time of 4:15.14 (3/1)… helped a Cardinal team to a seventh place finish in the 4x800 meter relay at the ECAC Championships with a time of 9:51.73 (3/8)… Outdoor: Placed first with a Cardinal team in the 4x400 meter relay at the RPI Invitational with a time of 4:14.78 (4/26)… helped a Cardinal team secure a seventh place finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:11.83 at the SUNYAC Championships (5/2)… contributed to a Cardinal squad that placed 19th in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 10:09.90 at the ECAC Championships (5/16).
High School:Â Served as one of the focal points for the indoor and outdoor track and field squads for some five seasons at Bayport-Blue Point High School...earned a total of nine varsity letters in the track and field circuit and hauled in one All-County as well as a pair of All-League awards... helped her team capture three winter league championships (2010-13) and another trio of spring league and county crowns (2011-13)... received a promotion to team captain during her final two seasons as a prep... ran to a sixth-place finish in the 600-meter event at the winter league championships and a similar finish in the 400-meter hurdles at the county championships in the spring... made a pair of appearances at the state meet, including one in the 4x800-meter relay in the spring.Â
Personal:Â Born Rebecca Mae-Rose Muschio in Long Island, N.Y., on January 21, 1995... daughter of Ramona Sanzone... will major in biology and minor in chemistry at Plattsburgh State.
