High School: Competed in track and field (four years), volleyball (two years), cross country (two years) and ice hockey (two years) at Salem High School... Earned All-Conference and All-Region for three years in track and field... Gained club volleyball experience playing for Michigan Elite Volleyball Club (two years), Team Detroit Volleyball Club (three years), Five1 Volleyball Club (one year) and AMP Beach Volleyball Club (three years)... Helped Michigan Elite qualify for the USAV Junior National Championships... In track and field, was a member of MI Elite Throws Club, qualifying for and participating in the AAU Jr. Olympics in shot put, discus and javelin.

Personal: Daughter of Jim and Kristen Rachwal... Mother, Kristen, competed in track and field at NCAA Division I Bowling Green State University for four years... Enjoys photography in her spare time... Also competes for the Plattsburgh State Women's Volleyball team.
