2008-09 (Junior): Awarded Second Team All-SUNYAC in outdoor and received ECAC Upstate NCAA Division III Athlete of the Week for her performance in the third week of April … Ranked as high as 19th in Division III women’s track and field in the 10,000m run … Qualified for the National Championships in the 10,000m when she raced to a 16th-place finish at the Penn Relays in a time of 36:34.21 … Also qualified for the Outdoor ECAC Championships in two other events, the 1,500m and the 5,000m runs … Placed second at the Outdoor SUNYAC Championships in the 5,000m run in a time of 18:03.76 … Hit an ECAC qualifying mark in the 1,500m run (4:53.59) at the Cortland Classic … Earned Second Team All-SUNYAC honors for indoor, while also qualifying for the Indoor ECAC Championships in two events (3,000m and 5,000m) … Hit her ECAC qualifying time in the 3,000m (10:29.82) at the Syracuse Invitational … Placed third at the ECAC’s in the 5,000m in a time of 17:38.59, while also taking second two weeks earlier at the Indoor SUNYAC Championships (18:11.22) in the same event … Schaffhouser’s best time in the indoor mile run came at the St. Lawrence Invitational (5:26.50).
