Biography

2011-12 (Freshman): Appeared in all 30 games for the Cardinals ... made her collegiate debut against Potsdam (Oct. 29) .. scored her first collegiate goal in a three-point performance against Chatham (Nov. 12).

Before Plattsburgh: Played high school hockey for Coach Paul Renaud … named team's most valuable player after leading the league in goals in 10th grade … NOSSA Champions AAA/AAAA and made L'Horizon's first OFSAA appearance … member of the Sudbury Lady Wolves Midget AA team.

Personal: Born Melissa R. McIver on June 3rd, 1993 in Sudbury, Ontario … daughter of Ben McIver and Darquise Chenier … relative, Liz Knox, plays for the Laurier women’s hockey team, Team Canada U-22 and the national team at The 12 Nations cup … enjoys working out ... fitness and wellness leadership major.
