Prior to Plattsburgh State: Stayed closer to his home stomping grounds and attended Monroe College in New Rochelle, N.Y., for the 2012-13 school year...suited up for the junior varsity baseball squad, playing in eight games and finishing the season with a batting average of .429. 

High School: Attended Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, N.Y. ... captured all-tournament team honors at the Iona Prep Tournament... took the field for four club squads during his prep days. 

Personal: Born Jeremy M. Rodriguez on July 4, 1994 in Yonkers, N.Y. ... son of Johanna Oquendo... plans to major in criminal justice at Plattsburgh State.
