High School: Competed in outdoor track and field (three years), football (three years), basketball (three years), indoor track and field (one year) and cross country (one year) at West Canada Valley High School... Sectional champion in the 400-meter dash (outdoor, 11th grade) and the long jump (indoor, 12th grade)... Named championship game MVP in football in 12th grade.

Personal: Son of Daniel Valerio and Stephanie Tabor... Hobbies include guitar, chess and golf.
