2014-15 (Sophomore): Indoor: Placed sixth in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 9:11.62, and helped the Cardinals to a sixth place finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:46.50 at the SLU Invitational (1/17)… finished second in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:58.21, and contributed to the Cardinals 4x400 meter fourth place finish with a time of 3:31.53 at the Brockport Multi & Invite (1/24)… finished first in the mile with a time of 4:25.74 and helped lead the Cardinals to a third place 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:34.63 at the Hamilton Invitational (1/31)… placed fifth in the 1,000 meter run with a time of 2:32.90 and powered the Cardinals to and eighth place finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:34.53 at the Dartmouth Indoor Classic (2/7)…Ethan also placed seventh in the mile run with a time of 4:24.22 at the SUNYAC Championships (2/28)… and sixth in the 1,000 meter run with a time of 2:31.51 at the ECAC Championships (3/7)… Outdoor: Finished second in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 4:07.18 at the Middlebury Invitational (4/3)… took fifth place overall in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:58.61 and contributed to a third place Cardinal finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:32.59 at the Dick Farley Invitational (4/11)… placed third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:00.26, and helped lead the Cardinals to a first place finish in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 8:30.50 at the UAlbany Spring Classic (4/18)… finished second overall in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 4:01.66, and propelled the Cardinal squad to a first place finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:26.79 at the Capital District Classic (4/25)…Ethan also placed fourth in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 3:56.80 and contributed to a seventh place Cardinal finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:45.84 at the SUNYAC Championships (5/2).

2013-14 (Freshman): Cross Country: Burst onto the cross country scene for the Cardinals by becoming the number-one Plattsburgh State finisher in nearly all nine of the races he took part in... started off his collegiate career with a sixth-place finish at the RPI Opener, covering the 3.04-mile course in 16:04.3... ran his best eight-kilometer race at the Connecticut College Invitational where he posted a time of 26:44 to finish in 50th place... at the SUNYAC Championships, turned in a 53rd-place performance in 27:05.1... took part in his first NCAA Atlantic Region Championship meet where he was clocked in a 187th-place time of 28:44.2. Indoor: Placed fifth in the mile with a time of 4:34.63 and helped a Cardinal team place fourth in the distance medley relay with a time of 12:00.06 at the Saints Indoor Invitational (1/18)… finished fifth in the 1,000 meter run with a time of 2:32.68 at the Dartmouth Indoor Classic (2/1)… placed fourth in the mile with a time of 4:25.39 at the Cornell Invitational (2/22)… finished sixth in the mile with a time of 4:23.64 and placed eighth with a Cardinal team in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:28.67 at the SUNYAC Championships (3/1)… placed 12^th in the 1,000m meter run with a time of 2:33.62 and contributed to a 20^th place finish with a Cardinal team in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:28.44 at the ECAC Championships (3/8)… Outdoor: Placed third in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:57.53 and helped a Cardinal team place third in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:28.31 at the RPI Invitational (4/12)… contributed to a Cardinal squad that placed third in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 8:13.90 at the Cortland Invitational (4/18)… placed 13^th in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 4:09.26 and helped a Cardinal team place seventh in the 4x400 meter run with a time of 3:26.47 in the SUNYAC Championships (5/2).

High School: Constructed a splendid four-year cross country career at Potsdam High School... carved out spots for himself on the First Team for no less than three sporting entities (All-Northern Conference, Section 10, Class C)... took part in the NYSPHSAA Cross Country Championships on two occasions... earned a medal at the state meet for Class C... collected a trio of varsity letters... extended his athletic prowess to the indoor and outdoor track and field squads... spent just two years on the indoor track and field roster, but made a pair of trips to the state meet in that short span... set a new school record in the 1,000-meter run... was an integral part of the 4x800-meter run that tied a school record... picked up Team and Distance MVP awards in addition to two more varsity letters... lettered three times in outdoor track and field... along with three other athletes, set a new school record in the 4x800-meter relay... established yet another new school record - this time in the 1,600-meter run... traveled to the state meet twice more during his outdoor career... garnered First Team All-Northern Conference accolades... provided his team with a pair of championships (4x800-meter relay, 4x400-meter relay) during his junior year. 

Personal: Born Ethan Scott Vinson on May 17, 1995, in Dayton, Ohio... son of David Vinson and Ronda Kuhn-Davis... has not yet declared a major at Plattsburgh State.
